Doha Slipway
In 2009 SPS supplied over 129 precast concrete slabs, and 435 base sections for the Hamad International Airport in Doha.
The construction for a boat access slipway is in case of an emergency and need for quick evacuation.
Cork Harbour
In 2011 Cork Harbour, Ireland required the stabilisation of its quaywall from scour errosion. SPS supplied 72 number 10x3x0.5m concrete mattresses, all supplied from a mobile manufacturing site set up specifically for the project.
Taybridge Project
SPS successfully completed a contract for Volkerstevin, to design and supply bespoke complex products to prevent the Tay Bridge protection piles from scour.
For this project, a purpose built 100 tonne hydraulic lifting frame (designed by SPS), was manufactured for Volkerstevin and was used for precision placement of the 500 unique concrete mattresses provided.

GSS Applecross
SPS were awarded the contract by GSS Plant to supply various concrete stabilisation products for the Raasay CS project.
The joint work between SPS Great Yarmouth and Dundee facilities allowed for a quick manufacturing process. Concrete collars cast in Dundee, and the 28 tonne purpose made Headwall, Great Yarmouth.
Pipeline collars and the unique headwall block supplied by SPS have been installed from Kyle Harbour, Scotland autumn 2015.
Kings Lynn Wash
4th May 2015
SPS supplied over 200 number 1.5te large Mulitflex Sand Bags to VolkerStevin.
All bags were installed using SPS multi installation lifting equipment to be used as scour protection around wind turbines in the Wash of Kings Lynn.
